HAHAHAHA!

I finished it! Yes! The final draft of Simian Smith is finished. I am sooooo happy. Got a fair bit of artwork done too, I might even post some up if I can kick my scanner into touch.

Me and my brother don't have much to say to each other either. Sometimes I think I'd like us to live closer to one another (I'm in CA he's in NJ) but then others I think we'd probably find something to not get along about. The idea of getting along really well with a sibling is very romantic to me, you don't have to talk about where you came from cause they already know. My brother and I are hung up on the facts that he is a born again Christian and I'm an atheist. Christians often don't have much to talk about but God. Oh well, maybe in my next life?Good work finishing that which you set out to do, I'd love to see something you write or draw some time.

Cheers Danny, man I feel good! Watch the blog for a piccy Nimiwey.
The distance between my sister and I is a pretty lame reason (London not being that far from Nottingham, or even Lancaster where I now live), but I guess the distance isn't physical. You know I have no idea if my sister believes in God, so there isn't even that as an issue, I guess relatives can just be strangers.

Hey, why do you hate celebrities? Is the pure hedonistic gluttony? Ugh, capitalism.

Hah, someone's been looking at my profile!
The celeb hating has been a gradual thing really, way back in my teens I thought actors, musicians and the like were just the bee's knees, a process of age/grumpiness, declining talent and the horrible truth of the phrase 'everyone will be famous for 15 minutes' (poor Andy must be spinning in his grave.... actually I think he'd like the cult of the celebrity nobody) have just worn me down. 'Hendonistic gluttony' is pretty acurate (good one) and is so prevelent it's stomach churning. Also the public's obsession with celebs is pretty hateful. Maybe I'm just some uptight snotty moralising idiot, but the idea of looking up to what passes for stars nowadays just staggers me. I do enjoy heckling the TV when useless celebs are on though!
