Good for you sir!

It's the kind of bold, moral and possibly mad move that impresses the hell out of me (it's why I love Bill Watterson), an independant children's author has asked amazon to remove his book from their site as he would rather support indie bookstores. Read a bit more about it here.

The publicity from a move like this should shift a bunch of units for him, probably more than he'd move through Amazon, so it's probably quite a canny move on his part.

Think Peter has a very good point there - and good luck to him too.

Yeah, I think it's not only a smart move on his part but it's publicity from making a stand for believing in something positive. Don't care if his book's not much cop I admire his stance no matter what his sales or 'profile' is.
Merry Christmas to you Peter and your wife and daughter, have a lovely one.
