After a bit of faffing around with my new Wacom tablet and Coral Painter I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. Here's my first publishable attempt along with the original. Be interesting colouring stuff drawn with colour in mind.
Wow, cheers Ian! Thanks for the kind words, now I can use colour a bit better I'm hoping to try and get a portfolio together, so the encouragement is appreciated. As it happens I don't have a natural eye for colour, that's why I've stuck to b&w for so long. Using a computer is dead good as I get to mess around until it looks right without having to start over each time. Must be similar for you cos I can't detect any colour failing in your work at all!
Cheers Suze, still getting to grips with it myself, if a wankhands linke me can do it, anyone can! Ta Danny, I love nice linework, but I like getting rid of it too sometimes. I'm a complicated man.

THAT IS BRILLIANT! Love the color job. Huzzah!
I like it so much... I have to add, you have quite a natural eye for color, vexes me somewhat as I don't! Wonderful stuff.

You have a talent and I'm jealous I just can't use those tablets at all. :)
Yep - definitely keep up the colour work, mate! Always like colour borders on stuff rather than just black lines filled in.
Love the blade on this one...
