As requested, by Danny by me, here's my go at The Second Doctor by the brilliant Pat Troughton. The cover design of the book (d'y' geddit?) he's reading is inspired/stolen (delete as applicable) by Ian Edginton and
D'Israeli's fine comic adaptation of 'War of the Worlds' fact fans.

Nice work sir! Troughton ruled... and you've captured that impish air really well!
Thanks. Pat was so good, give me a shout if you want the original art, 'cos it's yours.
Very cool.
I like it - especially his socks!
I'll take it sir! ta very much!
Troughton rocked and i cant wait to see the cosgrove hall animated episode 1 and 4 of The Invasion '60s cybermen story alongside the rest of the restored episodes.
Im hoping that Tom Baker will agree to do some animated stories like the rest of the ones that the BBC site carried before the new series came about - REAL TIME, DEATH COMES TO TIME, the SHADA remake etc were excellent and so having a brand new Tom adventure would be good fun.
but, well, Pat still is the best :)
btw, 'my' Doctor by childhood default was McCoy and whilst he had a few shitty early adventures, he did actually meet up with H G Wells and gave him a ride in the TARDiS... which obviously hints that the doctor plays his part in influencing later events... again.
btw, hello Paul, sorry to have been away so long :)
Welcome back Reece, drop by anytime.
Tom's my growing up Who, but, Pat gives him a run for his money. Liked some McCoy stuff, he's not the problem with DW back then, lack of BBC interest was the problem.
Glad y'all liked this one, worked extra hard on those socks!
