Whistful

Blackcurrent lemsip at hand, the gentle patter of rain outside, my wife making a white chocolate mousse torte (fancy word for 'tart' I suspect) in the kitchen, a book and a pile of old comics by my side, I'm wearing pjamas and the beautiful sounds of Richard Hawley's CD 'Coles Corner' are coming from the laptop. It's going to be a great day.

I guess I win.

I'm fairly sure I'd react in the same way. This is the point where the child becomes the parent me thinks.

I'm not sure if you were informed; we watched "A History Of Violence". Thoroughly enjoyed it... Waiting for "Corpse Bride" now - been re-watching "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and reading some of Burton's books in anticipation...

It's rare a film comes about that I get really interested in.

I managed to see History of Violence at the cinema in Morecambe and was very impressed, even liked the new ending. Can't wait for Corpse Bride and I'm hoping Howl's Moving Castle will turn up here, maybe at the art cinema.

What's the blurb on that one?

Don't know too much about it other than it's Miyasaki's latest and that's all I need to know!

Ah I know the one now! That's on my list.
