Soup

A soup place has opened up in town (or it's been there for ages and I missed it) so I gave it a try today. I love pumkin soup, especially when it's home made and comes with fresh home made cheese and onion bread. I think I'll become a regular.

Sounds pretty good right about now... It's flipping pelting down.

If they just opened up, it's the right season. I had vegetarian Sushi and a bean wrap... sucked.

Well, it wasn't dark but was a bit nippy.
Think we have veggie chilli about once a week.... and never get bored of it - maybe swapping rice for wraps for variety.

I've never had pumpkin soup but it sounds sooo good. We've started our rainy season here in Northern Cali, it will rain or at least be gray from now until April. So soup it is...mmmmm...I like pumpkin bread, pie, yogurt, etc.

Mmm vegetarian chilli. I have a feeling I may be having that this week.

It's got to be said, chili is where it's at grub-wise. Summer or winter... It's perfect.

Reese, I'm glad to hear you're still baking!

So glad I missed Vinnie Jones musical career, hope his acting career goes the same way.
How strange, this isn't Russ Abbott's first mention on this blog.....
A fairly simple, and very tasty, mushroom and roast garlic soup today, sadly they were all out of the tomato apple and, I think, ginger, which once people tried disappeared very quickly apparently.
